Public ignorance and lack of care was never better demonstrated when this 59 y.o. homeless man tried to get a bed and bath at local hotels/motels in the area. Repeatedly I was denied a room despite my "vulnerable" status under the governors order. When I was able to convince some clerk to give me a room, I was charged full price with few, if any, services or amenities.
